The Four Stages of a PRINPOLL Event

1. Open Stage

Participants can submit nominations for the event categories through the shared event link.

2. Nominated Stage

Organizers review and approve nominees. Participants can view all approved nominees.

3. E-Voting Stage

Official voting begins. Participants cast votes for their preferred nominees in each category.

4. Closed Stage

Voting period ends. Results are finalized and can be displayed according to organizer preferences.

Creating and Managing Your Event

As an event organizer, PRINPOLL empowers you with complete control over your voting event from start to finish.

Create Your Account & Event

Start by signing up for a PRINPOLL account and creating your event from your dashboard. Fill in your event details including:

  • Event name and description
  • Event dates and timeline
  • Categories for nominations and voting
  • Voting parameters

Once your event is created, you'll receive a unique event link that you can share with potential participants.

Open Stage: Collect Nominations

When your event is initially created, it starts in the Open stage. During this phase:

  • Share your event link with the public
  • Participants can submit nominations for your event categories
  • You'll receive all nominations in your dashboard for review
  • You can manually add nominees if needed

You have complete control over the nomination process and can set requirements for submissions.

Nominated Stage: Review & Approve

Once you've collected nominations, you can review them and select the official nominees:

  • Review all submitted nominations in your dashboard
  • Approve or reject nominations based on your criteria
  • Organize nominees into appropriate categories
  • Change your event state to Nominated

When you switch to the Nominated stage, your event link will automatically update to display all approved nominees, allowing participants to preview before voting begins.

E-Voting Stage: Launch Voting

When you're ready to begin collecting votes, change your event state to E-Voting:

  • Configure voting settings
  • Set voting duration and end date
  • Configure whether to display real-time results
  • Share the event link for participants to cast their votes

During the voting phase, you can monitor voting activity, track earnings, and observe trends in real-time.

Closed Stage: Finalize Results

When the voting period is complete, change your event state to Closed:

  • Review the final voting results
  • Export data for your records
  • View complete financial summaries
  • Withdraw your earnings (minus PRINPOLL's commission)
  • Share results with participants if desired

The Closed stage marks the completion of your voting event. You can access all your event data indefinitely for reference or create a new event when you're ready.
